A few short years ago the Bendigo Spirit started as a dream – now we’re fulfilling the dreams of women from regional Victoria.

I’d like to invite you to join the highest profile women’s sporting team in regional Victoria which is providing role models for young girls, a vehicle to promote your business and ambassadors for Bendigo and Regional Victoria.

In our short history, the Bendigo Spirit has had a big impact.

Our first season in the Women’s National Basketball League saw the organisation establish its brand and the team in contention for a finals spot right up until the last round of the regular season.

In year two, the profile of the organisation has grown and the team made the finals – finishing the 22-game regular season with 14 wins.

As Victoria’s only regionally based sporting team competing in a national competition, the Spirit have won over the hearts of the Bendigo community.

The Spirit has a strong, high profile brand with reach into the regional Victorian market. This includes exposure on nationally televised games, as well as exposure across Australia.

The team plays in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Logan (Brisbane) and Townsville.
