Bendigo Spirit point guard Kristi Harrower has been named Player of the Week in Round 17 of the WNBL after scoring a career high 40 points on Sunday.

There was jockeying for positions in Round 17 as the top six teams battled to secure their place on the ladder before the end of the regular season.

The Global Metals Boomers consolidated their position at the top of the WNBL ladder with an emphatic win over the Dandenong Jayco Rangers.
