The BDS Logan Thunder is a young exciting team on the way up.

After two seasons competing hard (inaugural season in 2008/09), the club is gaining experience and has added some depth to the roster for the 2010/11 season.

In the clubs first season, the team finished 8th with a 7 – 15 record. The team confirmed they had what it took to compete in the WNBL, with the Thunder pushing the top teams.

The 2009/10 season saw the Thunder move to the Logan Metro Sports Centre, an air-conditioned 2000 seat venue in Crestmead and move one spot up the ladder to 7th palce.

The 2010/11 season promises further improvement with the appointment of Olaf Lange as head coach and the signing of three key players; Cayla Francis, Renae Camino and Emma Randall.

The team is on its way to being a finals contender in only the teams 3rd year in the league.
