The Dandenong Jayco Rangers will open their WNBL title defence on Friday October 5 at Dandenong Stadium with a grand final rematch against cross town rivals, the Bulleen Boomers. The first of four home games to open the season, it is anticipated that Dandenong Stadium will be at capacity as these two rivals go toe to toe.
The 2012/2013 WNBL regular season will see the Rangers in action 24 times, (12 home/12 away), with a blockbuster game against Adelaide scheduled for January 25, the night before the Eltham/Dandenong Tournament begins - with over 1,000 teams from around Australia expected in Melbourne for the event.
Season 12/13 will feature 9 teams battle it out in WNBL competition, with teams playing each other 3 times across 19 rounds - and will run from October 5 through to February 16. The grand final is once again scheduled for the second weekend in March.
