Thunder claim nail-biting victory over Rangers

The Logan Thunder has kept their WNBL finals hopes alive with a 76-71 victory over the Dandenong Rangers in Logan tonight.

In a close contest throughout, with multiple lead changes, the home side took the lead for the final time with under three minutes remaining and held on for their seventh win of the season.

Thunder guard Renae Camino led the way for the victors with 28 points, while centre Cayla Francis recorded yet another double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds, to go along with six assists.

Jenna O’Hea top-scored for the Rangers with 15 points, while Steph Cumming added 14 points. Both Tegan Cunningham (14 points, 12 rebounds) and Krista Phillips (11 points, 14 rebounds) recorded double-doubles for the visitors.
