Rangers beat AIS by 43

The Dandenong Jayco Rangers have returned to winning form after beating the AIS convincingly 89-46 at the AIS Training Hall in Canberra on Friday night.

The Rangers had seven double-digit scorers for the contest with Kathleen Macleod making a dramatic return to form finishing the game with 19 points. Jessica Foley finished with 12 points and Abby Bishop finished with 11 points.

For the AIS, Tayla Roberts and Rebecca Cole both scored 10 for the contest while Rebecca Allen reeled in 10 rebounds.

The first term saw Dandenong burst into the New Year explosively, ending the first term with a 31-8 lead.

This blew out further in the second term to 58-21 and, despite the AIS putting in a big third term (17-8), the Rangers were never tested from then on, streaming away to the big 43 point win.
