Florance makes WNBL return with Bulleen
Former Jayco Opals star and 2007 WNBL MVP Hollie Florance (nee Grima) will return to Australia’s premier women’s sporting competition for the 2012/13 season after signing on with the Bulleen Boomers.
A member of the 2006 World Championship-winning Jayco Opals team, Florance returns to the club where she made her name as one of the best centres in Australian basketball.
Still only 28, the 190cm star will add much needed experience to the Boomers roster, having accumulated more than 200 appearances in international basketball.

Camino coup for Spirit
After watching the likes of Tess Madgen and Deanna Smith depart this off-season the Bendigo Spirit have pulled off their own coup, landing fringe Jacyo Opal Renae Camino from the Logan Thunder for the 2012/13 WNBL season.
Since bursting on to the WNBL scene with the AIS in the 2004/5 season Camino has been a star of the WNBL, sporting a career average of more than 15 points and 5 rebounds per game.
Securing the services of the 25-year-old will boost the offensive threat of the Spirit, helping to cover for the loss of local product Deanna Smith to the West Coast Waves.

Waves secure Bulleen WNBL Championship piece
The West Coast Waves roster for the 2012/13 WNBL season is beginning to take shape, following the addition of Ameila Todhunter from the Bulleen Boomers.
The 24-year-old guard joins a back court already sporting veteran talent in the form of captain Melissa Marsh and new recruit Deanna Smith.
Todhunter spent the past two seasons with the Boomers after making the switch from Dandenong, playing 20 games, including the Grand Final, in their 2010/11 Championship-winning season.
