The Bendigo Spirit announced on Monday that exciting young guard, Georgia Booth, has re-signed with the club for the upcoming WNBL27 season.
This comes after the recent re-signing of Olivia Pollerd, with the pair joining WNBL26 MVP Izzy Borlase, Kelsey Rees and Casey Samuels on the Spirit’s roster for next season.
“I’m really grateful to be returning to the Spirit again next season,” Booth said.
“This season has been huge for my development, and I’ve loved being part of this group.
"Staying in Bendigo for NBL1 and into the next WNBL season feels like the right place for me.
“I’m excited to keep building and to contribute wherever I can.”
Booth returned to Bendigo at the beginning of the 2025–26 campaign, committing to her first full WNBL contract following time as a development player, after emerging as one of the country’s standout prospects.
Across the WNBL26 season, Booth averaged 3.6 points, 2 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game, across her 25 appearances.
General Manager Dan Jackson said Booth’s re-signing was another strong step in shaping the Spirit’s roster for next season’s campaign.
“Georgia has taken meaningful steps forward this season, and her growth has been really pleasing,” Jackson said.
“She brings energy, toughness and a team-first mindset that fits perfectly with our culture.
“We’re excited to see where she can take her game over the next year, both with the Spirit and through a big NBL1 season with the Braves.”
As mentioned, Booth will remain in Bendigo for the NBL1 South season with the Braves, playing alongside Pollerd.
