This weekend's games saw five exciting festive fixtures take place all across the country.
Highlighting this round was the New Year's Eve blockbuster in Townsville and a number of big milestones.
Join us as we recap all the top moments from Round 11 during our weekly column.
Bendigo going back-to-back?
In recent weeks, a lot of the noise around the WNBL has been centred around Townsville and Perth, with Bendigo flying under the radar.
But not anymore, after Bendigo's resounding New Year's Eve win over the Fire in Townsville.
Not only did it secure Bendigo their 10th straight win but it reiterated their Championship calibre against one of the fellow favourites of WNBL26.
First placed Bendigo, powered by the competition's leading scorer Isobel Borlase (21.9 points per game), will look to make it 11 straight on Monday in Sydney.
Flyers soar into the four
Big wins by the Southside Melbourne Flyers over Adelaide and Sydney have moved them into the all important top four at the end of Round 11.
Averaging 99 points a game across those two wins, the Flyers' offensive potency was on full display over the weekend.
With the likes of Cayla George, Maddi Rocci, Issie Bourne and Haley Peters all fit and firing right now, the Flyers look set for a second half of the season surge.
Perth juggernaut continues to dominate
Ever since basketball superstar Han Xu arrived in Perth, the Lynx have not lost a game, rattling off six straight wins.
Their average winning margin during that span is an impressive 23 points, powered by putting up a league-leading 96 points per game.
Other stats that Perth lead since Round 7 include field goal percentage (48.9), three point percentage (38.1), rebounds (46.8) and blocks (4.7), highlighting their dominance.
Key period for Caps looms
With a host of injuries in their lineup, including to Australian Opals pair Jade Melbourne and Sara Blicavs, the UC Capitals have suffered two straight defeats, including Saturday's loss to Sydney.
These have seen Southside leapfrog them into fourth on percentage, with both sides having six wins to their names.
As such, these next few games loom as crucial for the Caps keeping their Finals chances alive, meaning the likes of Kadi Sissoko, Nyadiew Puoch and Nicole Munger are going to have to step up and assist star big Zitina Aokuso.
Merry milestones
Across the festive season, numerous athletes chalked up milestones, including Geelong's Mackenzie Clinch Hoycard bringing up her 100th WNBL appearance against Perth on Sunday.
Other recent milestones include Townsville's Alicia Froling scoring her 1000th WNBL point, Bendigo's Kelsey Griffin grabbing her 700th career rebound, now fourth all time, Southside's Maddi Rocci hitting her 200th career triple and Tera Reed playing her 50th WNBL game.
