Flyers star cleared for return

The Southside Melbourne Flyers have received a welcome boost just hours before their Round 9 clash with Geelong.

US import Haley Peters, who has missed the club's past three matches due to a shoulder injury, has passed her fitness test and will play in Tuesday night's fixture at the Victorian State Basketball Centre.

In her seven matches in the WNBL26 season, the University of Duke alum is averaging 9.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.

The Flyers head into the match on the back of a four-game losing streak, including their most recent defeat in Canberra on Friday.
