The Geelong Venom’s WNBL27 home opener against Southside Melbourne has sold out, setting a club-record crowd.

History will be made on Saturday when the Geelong Venom host the Southside Melbourne Flyers at Microkeeper Arena.
The Venom announced on Saturday that their WNBL27 home opener is officially sold out, which also breaks the club’s biggest home crowd record.
“Today’s first home game is officially sold out; the biggest WNBL crowd in our club history,” a club spokesperson said.
“Thank you, Venom Nation. See you at Microkeeper Arena.”
This Round 2 fixture will also see Chinese superstar Han Xu make her club debut.
The match tips off at 3pm AEDT, live on 9Now and ESPN via Disney+.
