The UC Capitals aren't panicking just yet, despite suffering back-to-back defeats to Townsville and Adelaide.

During the club's media availability, Caps star Sara Blicavs, whose side defeated Southside Melbourne in Round 1, said she's "not concerned" with the team's start to the WNBL26 campaign.

"I don't think there is necessarily an issue or a concern with our start to the season, I think we're just a new team that's learning how to play with each other," Blicavs said during her club's media availibilty.

"Individually we're great, we're just trying to find a way that we can contribute to that in our team at the moment.

"It's just about gelling and connecting out on court, and I know it's all going to click soon."

A big part of the Caps' poor start is their shooting percentages, currently sitting second-last in field goal (40.3) and three-point percentage (20.9).

But Blicavs, who was part of the Australian Opals' 2025 FIBA Asia Cup gold medal-winning team, is confident the team will turn it around very soon.

"It's frustrating because we put up so many shots at training," Blicavs said, who's side has shot a combined 17.65 per cent from downtown in Round 2 and 3..

"I really believe we're probably the best three-point shooting team in the league, but it's just not happening right now.

"It goes back to knowing where you're getting your shots and when it's going to come.

"We're a little bit frazzled out on court and we're rushing a little bit, but once we get more game reps we'll find more flow and get there."

Blicavs, who is averaging 13 points and seven rebounds a game, and her Capitals return to the court on Thursday, travelling to Sydney to take on local rivals the Flames at Quaycentre.

The Round 4 fixture tips off at 7pm AEDT, live on ESPN2 and 9Now.

Tickets to the clash are still available here.
