Flyers confirm import's departure

Fresh off Sunday’s Round 3 loss to Adelaide, the Southside Melbourne Flyers confirmed a roster change on Monday.

The club confirmed the parting of ways with import Sakima Walker, who averaged 8 points, 6 rebounds and 1.7 assists across her three matches with the club.

This news was first reported by CODE Sports, who say Sam Mackinnon’s side are nearing a deal with former Sydney Flames centre Unique Thompson.
