The Sydney Flames have signed exciting young gun Jessica McDowell-White as a Nominated Replacement Player for the remainder of the season.

The Sydney Flames have added to their backcourt depth by signing young gun Jessica McDowell-White as a Nominated Replacement Player for the remainder of the WNBL26 season.
Born in Brisbane, McDowell-White went on to play her US college hoops at the University of San Francisco and Eastern Washington University, before spending two seasons with the Townsville Fire.
Across the 2023-24 and 2024-25 season, McDowell-White made 25 appearances for the Fire.
In her most recent season in the Tauihi Basketball Aotearoa competition, McDowell-White averaged 12.1 points, 6.9 assists and 3.4 rebounds in 14 games.
McDowell-White will replace Sydney's French import Olivia Époupa for both of the Flames' Round 10 fixtures with Townsville.
The first of those two matches tips off at 7pm AEDT Saturday at Quaycentre, live on ESPN and 9Now.
