The Tasmania Jewels might only be a few months into their existence, but they’re already making an everlasting impact on the generation of tomorrow.
This month, the first-ever Jewels memberships went on sale, with fans getting priority access through the ‘Got The W’ campaign.
As it stands, more than 2,200 supporters have signed up as inaugural members, including Megan Brown.
"I've also got lots of friends with daughters, who are a little bit older, who are aspiring basketballers," Brown said to The Examiner.
"The advent of the JackJumpers coincided around when Claudia and Carter were starting to get into basketball. It certainly gave them that extra incentive and they get to see the sport up close.

Tasmania chief executive Trent Jacobs explained his club were committed to providing affordable options for all families to watch the games live next season.
"Importantly, we've created memberships that ensure families can share in this extraordinary sporting spectacle and cheer for their Tasmania Jewels," Jacobs said.
"You can watch the Jewels live in action for less than a night at the movies, it's affordable family fun and we're really proud of that.”
As it stands, Steph Reid, Darcee Garbin, Gianna Kneepkens, Keely Froling, Taylor Mole, Brooke Basham, Mia Jacobs, Katie Deeble, Ella Tofeano, Andie Smith, Chloe Broomhall, Portia Chopping, Ava McDonald and Georgia Taylor are committed to the Jewels’ roster for next season.
The Jewels open their season against Geelong on October 15 at MyState Bank Arena.
