TechnologyOne Townsville Tip Off: Schedule, tickets & how to watch

The TechnologyOne Townsville Tip Off returns for 2026, getting underway on Thursday, September 17, with all nine clubs set to face off across four days and nine games at the Murray Sporting Complex.

For a handful of teams, this will be the first look at their new-look rosters ahead of the season proper, with fresh signings getting their first taste of live action together before the WNBL27 campiagn tips off on October 15.

Ticket demand has been strong across the board, and fans who can't make it to Townsville won't miss a moment - with every game historically streamed on 9Now and Disney+.

How it works

Teams will be awarded one point for each quarter won in a game at the Tip Off, and three points are awarded for an overall win.

This means there are seven points up for grabs in every game.

Note: If a game is tied at the completion of regulation time, an overtime period of one minute will be played, commencing immediately with a jump ball back in the middle of the court.

Standings will be updated nightly via the WNBL wesbite.

The team that finishes on top of the standings at the conclusion of all games will be awarded the TechnolgyOne Townsville Tip Off champions.

The tournament's Most Valuable Player will receive the Tiana Mangakahia Award.
