Fresh off having their undefeated start to the season come to an end, the Townsville Fire will be looking to do the same when they travel to Perth on Tuesday.

The Fire, who sit at 2-1 after losing to Southside Melbourne on Friday, will take on the Lynx at the Perth High Performance Centre, in a replay of last year's semi-final series.

Fire coach Shannon Seebohm, who is a five-time WNBL Coach of the Year, is confident his side can respond in the final game of Round 3.

“You look around the league, anyone can beat anybody on any given day,” Seebohm said during Friday's post-game press conference.

“We need the same aggressive mindset, we need to start with at the defensive end, and again, keep securing and sharing the ball and making the right plays, and I think we’ll be okay.

"I think every game this year is going to be tough.”

Apart from his side's defence, another element that gives him confidence is the play of US import Lucy Olsen, who scored a WNBL career-high 22 points against the Flyers.

“She stepped up and had a really big game, particularly in the second half for us," Seebohm said.

"I’m sure that’s going to give her a lot of confidence going into our next game."

Tuesday's fixture tips off at 9.30pm AEDT, live on ESPN and 9Now.

Tickets to the clash at the Perth High Performance Centre are still available here.
