The date of the Round 9 fixture between the Capitals and Lightning has changed.

The WNBL announced on Thursday that the Round 9 fixture between the UC Capitals and Adelaide Lightning will change dates.
Originally slated for Saturday, December 12, the 2026-27 fixture will now tip off at 5pm AEDT on Friday, December 11 at the AIS Arena.
The Capitals open their WNBL27 campaign on October 17 against Bendigo at AIS Arena, while thew Lightning travel to Sydney on October 18 to open their season.
