One week after moving into third on the WNBL's all-time scorers list, Southside Melbourne's Cayla George has chalked up more accomplishments.

During Friday's Indigenous Round victory over her former team Sydney, George moved into sixth on the competition's games played list.

Her 373 WNBL games see her move past Kristen Veal, with equal-third placed Rachel Sporn and Lucille Bailie (both 377) and the fifth placed Karen Dalton (375) just ahead of three time Olympian George.

The WNBL23 MVP also registered her 430th career steal to move into 10th place on the all-time steals list on Friday, overtaking her club coach Kristi Harrower.

Other notable stat milestones were secured by Bendigo's Marianna Tolo and Adelaide's Steph Talbot.

The former became just the second player ever to record 500 career blocks, trailing only Jenny Whittle (672 blocks), while Talbot chalked up her 250th career steal in Round 1.

Wrapping up the recent milestones was Perth's Amy Atwell, who chalked up her 1000th career point during Sunday's win over Sydney.

The Paris Olympic Games bronze medalist brought up the milestone in just her 67th game in the league.

Round 3 tips off on Friday night, when Southside Melbourne host Townsville at the State Basketball Centre.

The Indigenous Round clash, broadcast live on ESPN2 and 9Now, still has tickets available, which can be purchased here.
