The WNBL's stars aren't just dominating for the Australian Opals at the FIBA World Cup, with a number shining for their respective countries in Berlin.
One of those players is Germany's Marie Guelich, who was named Player of the Game in her side's 94-56 Qualification Round win over Korea.
In the Berlin Arena victory, the Townsville Fire recruit scored a team-high 19 points (on 7-9 field goal percentage), while also collecting 5 rebounds and handing out 3 assists.
This triumph sets up a quarter-final clash for Guelich's Germany with Belgium, at 1.45pm AEST on Friday.
China will hope they reach the same stage of the tournament, when they take on Puerto Rico on Thursday morning (1.45am AEST).
The Chinese side, headlined by Han Xu (Geelong), Wang Siyu (Southside Melbourne) and Yang Shuyu (Sydney), finished second in Group D, after wins against Czechia and Italy.
Xu and Shuyu are leading the way for the Chinese through their first three games, averaging 17.3 and 12.3 points per game, respectively.
