Which team boasts the most WNBA experience?

The WNBL's connection to the WNBA has arguably never been stronger, with 20 of the League's current stars having spent time in the United States at some point during their career.

As of September 15, the League currently boasts 1,179 games in the WNBA, a number which will grow with the 2026 season resuming on Friday.

The Bendigo Spirit lead the way, with close to 400 games of WNBA experience on their roster, powered by Kelsey Griffin (168 games) and Jade Melbourne (148).

The 2024-25 champions just edge out the Adelaide Lightning, who have three players with experience in the US, most notably Opals star Steph Talbot, who has a League-best 298 games.

Both Perth and Geelong also have more than 100 games on their roster, with only the Southside Melbourne Flyers not having any WNBA experience at their club this season.
