From one of the youngest MVPs in league history to making her WNBA debut, Isobel Borlase is set to shine in Atlanta.
WNBL26 MVP Isobel Borlase has signed her rookie contract with the Atlanta Dream for the coming WNBA season. Joining superstar Angel Reese, Borlase will finally make her WNBA debut after being drafted in 2024 with the 20th pick by the Dream.
Since being drafted, the 21-year-old has won a bronze medal at the Paris Olympics, gold at the most recent FIBA Women’s Asia Cup, and became one of the WNBL’s best players – receiving 99 first placed voted for MVP (a whopping 41 votes more than second-place).
Averaging career highs in points (22.8), rebounds (6.6) and assists (4), Borlase had a near-perfect season – dropping a season-best 42 points to cap off her brilliant season.
