Capitals import to miss clash with Lynx

The UC Capitals will be without star import Kadi Sissoko for their Round 7 clash with the Perth Lynx.

The French forward, who was drafted by the Phoenix Mercury in 2023, has been ruled out of the AIS Arena fixture due to a concussion and will be reevaluated ahead of next game.

Sissoko, who is averaging 13.3 points and 6.1 rebounds per game, will be replaced by Zara Russell in Paul Goriss' squad.

In other injury news, Australian Opal Zitina Aokuso will be back in the lineup, after missing last round defeat to Townsville due to a calf injury.

The Round 7 game, tipping off at 5pm AEDT, will be broadcast live on ESPN and 9Now.
