Capitals star to miss Flames fixture

UC Capitals forward Sara Blicavs will miss Friday's match against the Sydney Flames at the AIS Arena.

This marks the second straight game the Australian Opal has missed with a knee injury, sustained during the team’s Round 10 match against the Geelong Venom.

Blicavs, who recently played her 300th WNBL game, will be re-evaluated ahead of Canberra's Round 12 match against the Perth Lynx.

Abby Solway will replace Blicavs on the Capitals' roster for Friday's game against the Sydney Flames, which tips off at 7pm AEDT.

UC star Jade Melbourne will also miss Saturday's Round 11 game, due to a hand injury.
