This weekend's games saw five riveting games take place all across the country.
Highlighting this round was the highly anticipated Game of the Season in Townsville and a number of big milestones.
Join us as we recap all the top moments from Round 9 during our weekly column.
Massive milestones
Friday saw two stars of the WNBL achieve massive personal milestones.
UC Capitals' Sara Blicavs became just the 23rd player in WNBL history to play 300 games, during her side's win over Southside Melbourne.
In the same fixture, Blicavs' teammate Jade Melbourne played her 100th game in the competition.
Perth's statement win
It was billed as the Game of the Season at the Townsville Entertainment Centre and the Perth Lynx reigned supreme over the Fire.
It was Townsville's first home loss of WNBL26 and just their second of the entire season.
Perth are now 3-0 since Han Xu's arrival and appear set for a massive second half of the season.
Surging Spirit
The Bendigo Spirit continue to fly under the radar this season, quietly going about their business.
Saturday's win in Geelong was the club's seventh straight, solidifying their spot in the top two.
Making the record even more impressive is the fact that three-time Olympian Marianna Tolo is not playing, highlighting the amazing coaching and play going on in Bendigo right now.
Lightning strikes
Adelaide Lightning's interim head coach Aja Parham-Amma celebrated her first WNBL win on Sunday, as her side defeated Sydney 94-75.
It was a well-deserved result for Parham-Amma and her side, who are now sixth on the ladder, with a 4-7 record.
The Lightning will look to secure another win next round against Bendigo.
Stat attack
Zitina Aokuso, who has been instrumental in the Capitals' form reversal, chalked up her 1000th career WNBL point during her side's win over the Flyers.
The other two statistical milestones achieved during Round 9 were Perth's Anneli Maley collecting her 1500th rebound against Townsville and Bendigo's Abbey Wehrung hitting her 300th career triple during her side's victory over Geelong.
