Townsville Fire's Courtney Woods:

"Any time we play Perth, it's an intense game and I'm sure the pre-season won't make that any different.

"Their roster's been shuffled around a little bit so they look a little bit different, but I feel like whenever Ryan [Petrik] is the head coach of a team, they're going to have a good season.

"I feel like they might be trying different stuff, and we'll probably try some different stuff too.

"Both teams will hopefully just be looking to make it a productive game in the pre-season."

Perth Lynx's Alex Ciabattoni:

"It [Townsville] is the toughest stadium in the League to play in, and the fans are always huge here.

"Anytime you can get a win here just feels great.

"We know they're going to be loud, so it is just about trying to play through that and not let the crowd swing our momentum.

"[Sometimes] they hit one big shot, and it feels like you're down 30 [points].

"It's tough, but with the experience we have, we should be okay. It'll be a great learning curve [for our group]."
