WNBL Live and Free for the first time on the Website and App

For the first time in the league’s 45-year history, fans will be able to watch every single WNBL game live and free on the league’s own website and app.

The announcement follows from today’s game changing broadcast announcement which sees a two-year deal between NINE and the WNBL, with every moment of the 92 regular season games and the entire Final Series streamed live and free on 9Now, with a weekly match of the round to be aired on 9Go! and a dedicated WNBL Hub including full match replays, mini matches and highlights.

ESPN on Disney + will have all WNBL games available live and on demand ensuring fans don’t miss a single moment. Alongside this, ESPN will air more than 80 games of WNBL26 on ESPN/ESPN2 Network.

Plus, the longest-running national women’s sporting league is putting even more power in the hands of fans, with all games available right here on the website and app.  

WNBL CEO, Jennie Sager, said making the league more accessible is central to its growth. 

“It’s such an exciting time for women’s sport and for women’s basketball in Australia and now, we can showcase the WNBL to all fans far and wide. From our very first game on October 18, we will have more free ways for fans to watch, whether that’s on your TV, phone, or laptop, we’re bringing the WNBL to you,” said Sager.
