The Sydney Flames announced on Monday that rising star Isabelle Morgan would miss the remainder of the WNBL26 season through injury.

The Norths Bears junior injured her foot during the Flames' Round 8 clash with the Fire in Townsville.

Following scans and advice from specialists, Morgan has been ruled out for the remainder of her rookie WNBL season.

The Davidson College alum had produced averages of 4.9 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game during her 11 appearances.

Sydney announced on Friday the signing of Jessica McDowell-White as a Nominated Replacement Player, who will help fill the void of Morgan.

Sydney, who are 3-10 on the season, return to the court on Tuesday against the Fire at the Townsville Entertainment Centre.

Tickets to the Round 10 fixture, which tips off at 7pm AEDT live on ESPN2 and 9Now, are still available here.
